The Winnipeg Federal Building

The Winnipeg Federal Building, 1936, Winnipeg, Manitoba.


This project has involved assisting the Heritage Conservation Directorate, an agency of Public Works and Government Services Canada, with a study and investigation, followed by the development of working drawings and specifications for the restoration of the lobby ceiling. The project will involve the conservation of the plaster frieze in-situ, the replication of the flat plaster beams and coffers, and the reproduction of the original Art Deco paint scheme.
