Laurier House

Laurier House, (1875) Ottawa (National Historic Site)


As a consultant to Heritage Conservation Directorate, Public Works and Government Services Canada, I undertook condition surveys, research and subsequent development of working drawings, specifications and site review for restoring verandah with lead coated copper batten roof and all exterior door systems, and historic fences in support of landscape restoration. Also responsible for condition survey, as-found package, working drawings, specifications, site review and maintenance guidelines for restoration and thermal upgrade of original wood double hung windows and steel and leaded windows in this restored house museum. For Parks Canada.
