Fulford House
Fulford House, c1900, Brockville, Ontario
This is an historic house museum, owned by the Ontario Heritage Foundation, that requires major repair and restoration work to the building envelope and related features. As consultant to Robertson Martin Architects responsibilities include a condition survey followed by recommended approaches for conserving and restoring the building cornice, verandahs, wood and stained glass windows as well as the cast iron wall and wrought iron gates.
A general view of the house with the St. Lawrence River in the background.
The wrought iron features are excellent examples of blacksmithing.
