Bellevue House

Bellevue House, NHS, Kingston, Ontario

Bellevue House, National Historic Site, was the home to Canada’s first Prime Minister Sir John Alexander MacDonald from 1848 to 1849. The house is located on Centre Street in Kingston, Ontario. The house was built around 1840 and is one of the first examples of Italian Villa architecture in Canada. As a consultant to EVOQ Architecture Craig is involved in developing the details for the new wood shingle roof, a condition survey of the entire building and a maintenance plan.
